Contemporary Hugger Ceiling Fans – A ceiling fan makes a nice addition to any room in your home. In the summer months, the fan circulates air from the room to cool it, while in the winter time the direction of the blades is reversed to force hot air near the roof down. A ceiling fan is mounted in the center of the ceiling, where a normal lamp will normally be placed. However, most ceiling fans are available with a set of lights. If you have a low, flat roof, a hugger style ceiling fan may be the right choice for you. A hugger-style fan mounts near the ceiling so the blades provide ample headroom.
Turn off the power to the junction box in which the contemporary hugger ceiling fans is to be installed in the main cabinet. Keep the ceiling fan mounting plate from the junction box on the ceiling, making sure that the box wires hang down through the hole in the center of the mounting plate. Secure the mounting plate with screws that come with the junction box turned with a Phillips screwdriver clockwise. Suspend the fan motor to the junction box with the supplied hook to make the cable connection easier. Twist together the black wire of the fan and the black cable to the junction box together with pliers. Twist a cable nut at the end of the braided cables clockwise until tight.
Repeat this step for the white wire of the fan and the white wire of the junction box. Connect the exposed ground wire from the contemporary hugger ceiling fans to the green ground screw in the junction box. Tighten the screw with a flat-blade screwdriver in a clockwise direction. Support the weight of the fan motor with one hand and remove the hook and set it aside. Lift the fan to the mounting plate and align the mounting holes. Run the set screws in the mounting holes with a Philips screwdriver clockwise until tight.hugger ceiling fan with light, hugger style ceiling fans, ceiling fans hugger style, new style ceiling fans, ceiling fan hugger style, contemporary hugger ceiling fans
